Terms of Service

By creating an account or using AcadExa, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the Service

AcadExa is an AI-powered toolkit for teachers. It helps generate Table of Specifications, exams, item analysis reports, and Strategic Intervention Materials. AI-generated content is a draft — the teacher is responsible for reviewing and approving all content before use.

2. Your Account

• You must provide accurate information when signing up.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• One person per account. Do not share credentials.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Wallet & Payments

• Wallet top-ups are non-refundable once credited.
• Processing fees (Xendit, GCash, Maya, VAT) are displayed before payment.
• AI features deduct credits from your wallet at the actual token cost plus a service markup.
• Failed AI generations are not charged.
• Unused wallet balance does not expire.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use AcadExa for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
• Upload content that infringes third-party rights.
• Resell or redistribute AI output as your own commercial product.

5. Content Ownership

You own the TOS, exams, analyses, and SIMs you create. By using AI features, you acknowledge that AI output may resemble existing public-domain content and that we do not warrant originality.

6. Service Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

AcadExa is provided "as-is". We are not liable for any indirect damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 30 days.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
